What is Teepublic?
Teepublic is another of those apparel companies which feature artwork from designers and they specialise in T shirts.
This site and post may contain affiliate links from Amazon, Bluehost, Grammarly, Zazzle, WordPress, Shutterstock, Society6, Teepublic, Redbubble and if you click on a link and purchase a product from that website I will earn a small fee (which will go towards getting me Out of the Office!)
Is That All?
No – they have a range of clothing: T shirts in different sizes, hoodies, baby onesies, phone covers, face masks, notebooks – you know the sort of thing.
Oh, there’s loads more and stickers of course – the all popular stickers! What do people do with them? Who cares – they buy them!
How Do You Start?
It’s simple. Just go to the Teepublic website, open an account, link it to your Paypal or Payoneer and away you go.
Teepublic provide a list of dimensions. It’s best to upload a high resolution transparent png file at 150 dpi. The minimum dimensions are 1500px by 1995px but this does not include transparent pixels so make sure your file conforms to that or you can waste a lot of time! Of course, Teepublic provide a handy design guide.
When Do You Get Paid?
Teepublic pay out on the 15th of the month for all sales made during the previous month. They pay out in US dollars so you would then need to convert this into your own currency within Paypal if US dollars is not your home currency.
Is There a Minimum Payment?
Not at the time of writing which is good. You don’t have to wait for your earnings to build up as you do with Zazzle and Redbubble. There is a list showing you the set price you will earn when one of your designs sells eg. for most T shirts you would earn $4 commission unless there is a sale when you would earn $2.
Is There Any Help?
There’s a handy blog and a guide if you’re into reading all that. If you can’t be bothered, you can just plunge in like me and get through by trial and error! But seriously if you follow the blog you can learn a lot – like how to tag your designs properly and how to use social media effectively.
Fan Art Program
You can also apply to be part of the Fan Art program so you can base your designs on various ‘brands’ such as ‘Captain Scarlet’ or ‘Twin Peaks’. There are a set of rules for each brand and you must be officially accepted onto the program.
What’s the Long and the Short of It?
The verdict is that it is quite simple to upload artwork, and yes, you can make money on Teepublic, in a short space of time. I have put very little effort into my Teepublic store as I mainly concentrate on Zazzle but I saw fast returns for a lot less effort on Teepublic.
What are You Waiting For?
Time is short so stop wasting it and sign up to Teepublic! (Please be aware that if you sign up through the links quoted throughout this article and you sell successfully then I may make a small commission for referring you! So sign up and I wish you all the best! And what’s more, once you sign up, then you can refer people and get your own commission! So yes, you can certainly make money from Teepublic.)
